My trip to Amy's house.....

was great! It was a much needed get away. Terri and I left last Thursday and came home on Sunday. Let's just say I think I have reconfirmed my decision of not liking to fly. We flew out of Albany and our plane was an hour late arriving and in return it made us really late for our connection flight in Atlanta. We were running from one end of the airport to the other and only had 15 minutes. Then we realized after checking our flight that it had also been delayed by 30 minutes which was great. We spent the weekend relaxing and just hanging out with each other. On Friday we visited Baylor University and the community college where Amy works and goes to school. Baylor is a Christian college and one of the buildings was in the shape of a cross. It was neat to get to see. Then on Saturday we went to the local zoo and the Dr. Pepper Museum. We all really had a good time and enjoyed ourselves. Sunday morning we were up and back at the airport. Things were running really smooth until it's time for us to board our plane in Atlanta to fly back in to Albany and there's no crew to fly the plane. We end up sitting for an extra hour in the Atlanta airport before we are able to fly out. We made it home safely and that's the important part!
